Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill has trademarked the term ‘breastaurant’, which is the serving of hot food by curvy women. This may cause upset to competitors such as Hooters, as they cannot use the term, if they do then Bikinis can take legal action against them.

The restaurant owner, Doug Guller released a press release last week stating, “We’re really excited about receiving this federal trademark…our team has worked hard over the last seven years to offer a unique experience to our fans. It just further solidifies that Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill is America’s ONLY breastaurant®.”

Guller defines ‘Breastaurant’ as a restaurant that diner’s visits for the wait staff as well as the food they serve.

Guller’s decision to trademark the term was due to the recent increase in the “breastaurant” industry, as the top three restaurants in America saw a 30 per cent increase in sales in 2011.
